The Hanoi A1 Hotel couldn&'t be in a greater position. It is a short walk to the lake, water puppets and plenty of shopping and eating options, whilst being close to all other main attractions. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and made a constant effort. Although not the cheapest spot in the area, the standard of the room was high in comparison to similarly-priced rooms at other hotels and I felt that it was good value for the price. The room was spotless and beautifully furnished with black and white pictures of Hoan Kiem Lake adding a nice touch. The breakfast was pretty standard with the option of baguette, eggs and pho. I would definitely stay there again and would have no hesitation in recommending it to others.
