This is one of my favorite US hostels! Gram&'s location has a very calm atmosphere. You could hang out on the deck, in the hot tub, or a crow&'s nest on top of one of the buildilngs. This is a smaller hostel, so it was very straightforward to meet fellow travelers. The property owner Bruce is very helpful and accommodating. He gives you no cost use of bikes to get around. As well, you can rent a kayak, gear and ride to the bay for only $10 for 4 hours!

This hostel was beautiful. It holds an amzing peaceful and friendly vibe with helpful employees and rooms that inspire! This place is filled with character and is a great retreat, particularly for musicians who wish to spend their evenings playing any of the obtainable instrunments with the permanent staff. There is free breakfast, fast web and plenty of additional perks that makes this a great hostel on the west coast and brilliant value for money. One of the very best hostels I&'ve visted around the world!

The people, the owner, Bruce and Elizabeth treated not only me but everyone with real hospitality. Fantastic people along with Louis who looks soon after everyones needs. Trying hard to uncover a complaint- I can only manufacture one.

I was given a chance to live in a private room for the same price! It was awesome. Really friendly atmosphere. Near to downtown
