This location is clean, cozy and comfortable. Walking distance to China Town and Japanese Town, even Fisherman&'s Wharf. For this price and location, it serves quite well. Even a refrigerator in my room, that&'s a happy surprise. The shared restroom is clean. Free coffee and wifi.

Exceptionally clean place. They have a washer and dryer you can use, showers that work, huge and comfortable beds, filtered water etc. One of the nicest hostels I&'ve visited.

The room we had was clean, bed was bigger than I pictured, and even though we had shared bath/showers, I never had to wait in line for either and they were each kept clean. We had clean towels everyday and our room was cleaned everyday. It was comfortable.

Fantastic locale! It&'s such a cute old building, I think of quaint when I think of it. The employees helped out with any inquiries and often had a warm hello to give. It&'s more hotel than hostel especially since we were on a private room, but costs more reflect those of a hostel. The bath rooms were extremely up to date and for the most part in clean condition.

This property is somewhere decent to stay if you&'re on a budget. No drills, but you get what you pay for, and San Francisco is generally expensive. Overall it was clean and noiseless (when the rehearsals finished! ), with good safety on the front foot and bedrooms.

The greatest points I like about this spot are the cleanness (they keep it amazingly clean and they change the sheets/towels everyday) along with the location (it&'s really near to Polk street, which is a bohemian street of the city).
