Great location, warm and friendly staff, compfy beds. Curtains at the beds for far more privacy. There is certainly a daily event within the evening for travelers which is an excellent way to meet other people.

We actually were sent to the Fitzgerald Hotel &"around the corner, &" the first night on Feb. 26th. We returned the following week, for two nights, and requested to return to Fitzgerald. My friend and I who are in our 60&'s, had two double beds and a private bathroom. Superb value for being in San Francisco. Accessible sightseeing from the Union Square neighborhood by walking, BART, cable car, and sight-seeing buses.

This was first ever stay in an hostel and I loved it - good privacy in bunks with curtains, shelf, light and electric socket in bunk. Clean shower and toilets. Superb breakfast and a great hostel in general. Superb central location. Would recommend 100%. Thanks guys !

Wonderful and safe location - right inside the city center. The management and staff is really friendly and helpful. Loved the breakfast there. So far it is my favorite hostel inside the world! Cannot wait to be back to SF Thanks a lot.

Location was outstanding and convenient. There was a outstanding breakfast spot (we never ate the no cost breakfast at the hostel) and a local bar next to the hostel. It&'s walking distance to union square, Chinatown and fisherman&'s wharf/ pier 39. We got a private room and it was very good for a weekend.
