I loved my stay at USA Hostels San Diego. The environment is really lively and friendly, from the guests to the employees (some of whom seemed to live there. ) Everything is really clean. The bathroom is co-ed, but the toilets and showers are in little rooms with doors, so they are really private. I stayed in a four-person dorm room which was small, but each bed had a private light and outlet, and a little wall up by the pillow for privacy. Bonus: there were outlets inside the lockers so I could charge my stuff while I was out!

The employees is awesome and also the atmosphere great. Activities organized for the individuals staying are a massive plus especially when travelling alone. It helps making friends!

Great location right inside the center if all the restaurants and bars. Also easy to get to all the points of interest from here. Hostel was really clean and nicely presented. A lot of staff to provide assistance too. I stayed in a 6 bed female dorm, and really liked the additions to the bunks which offered additions privacy at the same time as a light, power outlet and shelf.

David is warm and friendly and helpful. He guided me anything. Example, how to get to airport, and manhattan. The hostel is comfortable, tidy and clean. Transport is very convenience. It took me 30 mins to go to manhattan.

Staff are really helpful and friendly, offer you daily excursions or other ideas for points you may wish to do yourself. They also organize either drinking games or pub crawls during the night time hours! Spot is the most clean I have stayed in as far as hostels go. Also right on the doorstep of the gaslamp party area.

An excellent, exceptional hostel -- one of the extremely best I&'ve stayed at (I don&'t know how numerous I&'ve stayed at by now, but it&'s gotta be more than fifty). Extremely friendly staff, extremely comfortable beds, good lockers inside the rooms, exceptional location. Next time I&'m in San Diego I&'ll stay here again without even bothering to consider any other probable accommodation.
