The location was totally perfect. Within walking distance of numerous shops, restaurants, and bars. You can take a brief bust trip to the city from right outside the hostel.

Great location -- 20 minute walk from train station, near to lots of local restaurants and stores on Ave 21st and 23rd, 10-20 minute walk to other parts of the city. Light providing of breakfast (bread, PB, Jelly, Coffee) was ideal to start off the day prior to search for the a lot of delicious brunch places Bath rooms were kept pretty clean to my surprise, never had to wait to shower or use the restroom Bed were clean and fresh linens and towels were given upon arrival The wall of the hostel is decorate with the a lot of activities/restaurants/events of Portland, you will never be left without some thing to do/explore!

Great place: very friendly vibe among the hostel guests with everyone hanging out on the patio at the start and end of the day; also the most helpful employees I have ever encountered in a hostel. Blackout curtains in the dorm - blissful sleep. Lots of no cost info given out. Within the Hawthorne district, my favourite region of the city, although be aware it&'s a 20 minute bus ride downtown. Impeccable environmental practices, which don&'t compromise services or facilities. The hostel engages with the local community which is nice, as an example by hosting workshops and a weekly brunch.

The location on Hawthorne Boulevard was really cool. It&'s a exceptional street full of cafes, some vintage shops and a few second hand bookshops. You can easily jump on the regular number 14 bus to get to the centre of town, or else walk 45 minutes over one of the bridges. The home itself was really nice. Very eco-friendly.
