The environment was comfortable and the staff were nice. It&'s a small hostel so in case you were expecting tours and events, you should stay at the larger hostels. Also, it&'s for individuals who are into discovering the culture of real NYC living. Not just going out to the bars and getting drunk everyday.

I stayed in this guesthouse in January and March and both times was nice. The first time it was january so it wasn&'t that full, but March was really lively and I met some fantastic people. If you travel by yourself it&'s fantastic to have a homely communal vibe at the guesthouse.

Bob marley said life is oe large road with lots of signs. this is a small hostel with lots of signs. all over place. on wall and cabinets. so u know what to do. . ok its not really big. its in ok hood. near subway low price if u sgtay five nights. cheaper. not extrodinary. i thought it was going to be different. just a town house or duplex. . and basics.

Great and warm and friendly staff, nice cooking area and clean bath rooms and bedroom. Just one block from the subway station and its situated in a not so touristic area, which gives you far more authentic experience.
