Very different to an average chain motel expertise - I loved it! Free entertainment at night, warm and friendly staff and near to all amenities. The spot has alot of charm (I stayed inside the gallerie room) you&'ll fall in really like with.

A bit different from your typical hostel. Had a amazing chat to several if the regulars here who are large advocates of Cajun culture and told me all about it. A amazing change of pace and vibe for people who want a break from the large cities.

Only goods items to say about this guesthouse ! REALLY clean, Lovely, friendly, location, Bar. People in Lafayette are so nice ! I had so much enjoyable when it was Cajun jam on wednesday night. Met a lot of superb local individuals !

This might be an overstatement, but the hostel is the greatest portion of this city. Soon after the mayhem of New Orleans and Baton Rouge we found this home to be a calming surprise. There&'s a lot of great music in Lafayette and most of it happens right here on the adjoining outdoor stage which draws a decent energetic crowd every single night. For the price of the hostel you get a great free show, a comfortable living space with little surpervision, and a free beer. That&'s a deal! Lots of very good food in town too. The staff is real nice! Come for the comfort, stay for the music. Right near the Greyhound station too.
