The rooms were clean, as was the kitchen, the breakfast was nice, and there was tea and coffee accessible all day. The hostel is right on the harbour exactly where you can easily catch ferries to Nantucket and Martha&'s Vineyard, and it&'s near exactly where the Megabus drops you off. Staff were friendly and helpful too.

This is a Fantastic HI hostel, which is more like a modern beach-house than a typical dorm style hostel. The Hostel is only two years oid was previously lived by a Ruth Rusher a former tour guide of the town of Hyannis who bequested the hostel in her Will. (Angeline Crocker Hinkley was Ruth&'s Mother && this is thename the Hostel goes under). When HI took ove the property a complete, full referbushment took place && converted ruth&'s over into a brand spanking new Hostel. A full cooking area exists onsite, along with free wi-fi && a nice living room over-looking the street && harbour. Spacious single bath rooms exist onsite && Towels && linen also included. You will want to reserve you spot for at least Two night&'s in order to take full appreciated of this little gem of a hostel that beats the over-priced, run-down hostels that are in existance in Boston.

It was the prettiest hostel i have ever stayed at. A nice walk to the beach, extremely warm and friendly staff, amazing food possibilities in close proximity- the greatest vacation hostel ever! They also have beach towels you can borrow so that you dont have to use your clean shower towel on the beach :)

Very warm and friendly staff, best location (near center, restaurants, bars and beach), community kitchen, outdoor-grilling-site. All in all, one felt much more at home than just like a regular customer. We had a extremely nice stay there!
