The social atmosphere was one of several highlights during my at El Diablo Tranquilo. I like the round entrance hall where we hung out within the evening, they serve meals for 10 bucks which are delicious and healthy at the same time (Gracias Nadia, eres la mejor cocinera ;)). It was just amazing, even the cleaners are happy and social in this place. Also, they make your bed each day which is just a pleasant extra.

Great staff, outstanding location (if only the sun had come out) on the beach, and a log fire for the winter. Meals served at hostel were good value for money and outstanding food. Employees were helpful with how to get there and whilst there. They were also good to relax out with over a few beers! Music choices good too.

This has been the really best hostel encounter in south america so far. The employees went out of their way to create us feel welcome, the city of Punta is AMAZING, and we met the really best people during our stay. Right after only three days, we were already making plans to gather with our new friends during the course of our travels.
