Nice atmosphere, location and staff. Breakfast was good. As well as the hostel has an awesome deal: if you book 2 hostels of El Viajero in different locations (so e. g. you book 1 night in Montevideo and 1 in Punta del Este) you get 1 night in the third hostel for free! (e. g. Colonia del Sacramento).

The employees was really friendly and helpful. They had a delicious asado the day we were there, and although it was a little pricey, it was totally worth it. The hostel is clean and had warm water at all hours. It has a nice patio and little bar. The location is in the centro which isnt the nicest part of the city but you can get anywhere from there. Breakfast was also pretty good, bread (butter, jam), yogurt, coffee, tea.

Good breakfast, Good lockers inside the dorms, nice bar location and terrace, the staff were really friendly and helpful (they booked our bus ticket for us which was handy as the bus station is far from the centre), offered dinner every single night which would be a excellent way to try some local food.
