Convenient location for access to public transport, opposite the Sabkah bus station and 500 m to Dubai metro. If you like local colour, this has plenty. Hustle and bustle of busy trading district late int the night. If you are a shopper not a bad location.

However Lonelyplanet describes Pacific as &'shabby&', I enjoyed my stay. Pacific is close to public transportation facilities (bus right in front, waterbus 300 mtr, metro 500 mtr), is clean end neat as well as the people are warm and friendly and helpfull. The rooms are indeed a bit outdated, but everything works as well as the bed is superb and clean. Each day bedlinnen and towels are replaced.

Great location and very outstanding value for money for Dubai. Actually a pretty basic hotel but the owner is very professional and very helpful. I also stayed inside the Coral Oriental for 2 days (loud piped music inside the corridors until 11:30 p. m. at night) along with the Pacific Hotel was much better.

Great location, run down facilities however the staff do make up for it. A taste of real down-town Dubai. No problems staying here.

It was ok for 1 night, but don&'t expect much service. The location is superb and it&'s near to the airport and effortless to travel to by public transport. So if you got a stopover, it&'s ok to stay here.
