Location is perfect! Like from the well-known odessitian song: Just on Deribasovskoy, turn to Risheljevskoy. Hostel is into the appartment, which itself is an artefact of Odessa`s history. Staff is helpful, hospitable and turstworthy.

The room was large and the location great but it is much more a flat than actually a hostel. !

Single room is the finest of the best, due to the fact it is cheep and comfortable. In addition, the manager is really superb and kind. He waked me up at 2:50am, and called the taxi for me. (my airplane schedule was 5:30am).

Marian was a nice guy, and quite helpful. The hostel was extremely very modest, but was clean. Budget single room &"locks&" with a baggage style key, that didn&'t really feel extremely secure at all, and bed was a little short. The location is remarkable - right next to opera house, and near to Potemkin steps and everything else you need to see in Odessa. In case you are staying get the address and cross roads sent to you in Cyrilic. Lonely planet and english maps don&'t have street names in cyrilic, so they are useless, making hostel extremely hard to find. Great little bar/restaurant 2 doors down.

Really enjoyed my stay there. Marian did his finest to help me. Clean and nice place with a lot of caracter and charm - not like the new plastic ikea collection. Outstanding chess play as well.
