I loved the fact that there were only two beds in a room for a low price, plus a television, plus a fully operational kitchen, and a no cost washing machine. When I was there, I was, except for two days, the only person there. I stayed in a room by myself for a low price, a clean bathroom, and a tv. I extremely suggest this property.

The employees were extremely helpful and even made our dinner for us once when we got confused! And they walked us to the bus sto to majke sure we got the right bus to town. It was extremely clean too and quiet.

Kristina's English is excellent and her grandmother communicates with one of the nicest smiles I've ever seen. I've spent time in a number of apartment-hostels in Ukraine, and this is decidedly the best.

This is my third visit to Kristina&'s Flat, and it really does really feel like one thing of a second home. I&'d recommend it especially for solo female travelers. Note: as of the middle of June there&'s now a very strong wireless connection for the whole spot (not just a computer, as described).

Ok, so its a 20 minute trip from the city centre, but in case you are right after an authentic encounter of Kiev, this is your place. Kristina is a amazing host, and she and her granny are very warm and friendly and helpful. There is web access but no wi-fi.

I had a fantastic stay, it's an adventure to find but it's worth it. Kristina speaks brilliant english, which I have only found with a hand full of other people in the Ukraine, and despite coming back one morning at the ungodly hour of 3 o'clock the only concern the next day was that I had gotten home safely and that I was ok. I stayed at a place similar to Kristinas in Simferopol and these were the 2 best places I stayed on my 11 day trek through the country. I would thoroughly recommend it to anyone

This is the third time Ive stayed with Kristina, and each time has been excellent. Her spot is small, so there arent a lot of other individuals there but she goes out of her way to be helpful. The flat is spotless, and the expertise is always great.
