This is a nice smaller hostel in a city that backpackers probably stop by on their way to enter Romania. It is nice enough, but I only stayed one night so can&'t really give this a comprehensive review. A lot of hostels in the region seem to cater a lot more towards Ukrainian individuals visiting for work/educational visits, I seemed to be the only travellers there. I think it passed owndership recently, but there were many rules and thigns on the walls that I&'d never seen anywhere else.

Really pleasurable stay. The employees are extremely knowledgable about Ukraine, they can give you lots of recommendation about what to do or exactly where to go, and they litterally go out of their way to create you really feel comfy in their place. The location is clean and centrally located.

This was an exceptional place to stay in Chernivtsii. The employees were amazing and really helpful. At some point I had to create important phone calls and also the employees helped me to get a Ukrainian phone that was really very good and that saved me from a lot of trouble.

Centrally situated in chernivtsi. They offer you no cost walking tour which u can know much more about the city. The employees is helpful, welcoming and friendly. The dorm room is spacious.

The location was brilliant as nicely as the owners were amazingly helpful - a real household atmosphere. Had a excellent time and learned some Ukrainian whilst I was at it!

This review has been a long time coming, but I had no laptop whilst travelling which you need to write a review on here! Me and my friend had an awesome time here in September, and it was our favourite hostel for our entire 5 month, 10 country trip! It was such a different hostel to your standard one, along with the owner Marcus made us really welcome. He&'s a very nice guy with a great family, and has a lot of exciting stories and knows an awful lot about Ukraine. Also, he did us a huge favour by driving us way out into the Carpathian mountains to a location we were staying in return for just fuel money (and offered to pick us up the following week)! He also took us to the bus station on the day we left. The hostel is clean, wonderfully decorated, in a perfect location and has a real cosy, homely atmosphere. Just what you need after months on the road! If - like us - you&'re staying here to head south to Romania, then Marcus will let you know exactly exactly where to go in terms of busses and so on. Also his wife is Ukrainian and will help you with any Ukrainian calls/websites you might need a hand with. Can&'t suggest this location enough.

The owners, a British-Ucranian family, live in the hostel and provide any info you need, especially for those, who can&'t read cyrillic letters. The owner offered us (2 guests) to take us in his jeep to Chotyn and Kamyanets-Podilskij and we paid just for the petrol. On request he&'ll do it again on request. By public transport it&'s impossible to see each places in one day, since the distances are far and it&'s not so basic to get there.

Location inside the middle of all the activities. And, for the days I was there the owners were away due to a new baby and their son was covering for them. He showed me exceptional walks, even escorting me to the Turkish baths (of yonder days) and I enjoy&'d very much his exceptional taste for Irish music whilst lounging inside the common on a rainy day.

Close to center of town. Lots of travel advice and assistance. Fantastic facilities. Fantastic hosts. A really peaceful atmosphere. Some amazing house cooking! A refrigerator full of brewskis. Nice shower/bath-tub. Internet.
