Stray Cat Hostel is completely situated in the European side of Istanbul - close enough to the restaurants and nightlife with the advantages of a quiet nights sleep. The attractions are easily reachable as the hostel is in the excellent place for accessing transport; including ferries to the Asian side. The principal plus of this hostel is the employees - the are amazingly helpful and warm and friendly and are the reason that I will most definitely be returning to Istanbul and Stray Cat Hostel. Hostel was beautifully decorated and whilst the rooms were basic they held all you need.

Interesting quirky spot in very good location in new town. Finest thing is the staff all of whom extremely helpful, nice and funny. Very effortless access to the old city Y and great places to visit on this side of the water. Outstanding breakfast and some cute kittens when we were there.

First of all, it is definitely a colorful hotel and it&'s interior decoration is totally no cost style! All of the paintings on the wall (cats! A cats lovers must go place! ) is worked by the travelers in different styles. The reason why I chose it is Istanbul is my last stop of my vacation and I wanna discover somewhere exciting to live in, and this stunning place never disappointed me:) The staff are very nice and helpful and they have a exceptional taste of dinning places! Remember to ask them for recommendations!

Nice Breakfast! Warm and friendly staff. The location is quite very good a little down the hill from Taksim square and close to a tram station that brings you in a few mins to the centre of the touristic center. . Good place to meet other travellers. .
