Istanbul Harmony Hostel

I absolutely LOVED the beds in dorms which you can lift and have a storage underneath - the top thought ever! I&'ve stayed in several hostels, but this one was the top in terms of being comfortable with storing my belongings and being able to access them easily! And that&'s usually often a problem when staying in dorms. here I had a whole under-the-bed surface to use as my closet, and putting the bed down, everything looked nice and tidy :) The guys working at the hostel are very nice and friendly, breakfast is very good, and the dinner they make if enough people sign up are outstanding too. Location is great for tourism, a few mins walk from all the primary cultural locations. If you are more into partying, then the location is not the best, but for me it was a outstanding central spot to be close to touristic stuff everyday, and the tram stop and ferryboat stop to cross to the asian side are a few mins walking distance so it&'s great overall. Bathroom is in the room, clean and nice!

The roof-top terrace, it was the reason I booked and it didn&'t disappoint. the employees were excellent.

Everyone inside the employees were really warm and friendly (and are very good players of backgammon and chess if you want to play with them) and extremely nice to meet. The room exactly where we stayed had a sofa and two armchairs, which made a warm and friendly environment to talk with the roommates. The location is just great.

The staff is extremely nice. The hostel has a rooftop which is a nice place to get to know new people. The location in the old portion of Istanbul is also superb to uncover the city on foot.

The staff were the BEST! I ended up staying for another 3 nights. Breakfast was brilliant, the rooftop terrace often had a lot happening. Even a BBQ was organised most nights by the staff, which included local Fish, veggies and bread. It was a cheap meal, but absolutely amazing! I can not speak any much more highly of this Hostel. Right after numerous trips around the planet this Hostel is my favourite!

Fantastic staff that are often willing to help you out, Fantastic food, They had a fish barbecue every other night that was awesome. Superb location, close to all the primary traveller attractions. The rooftop Bar/common room had a great atmosphere.
