If you are travelling to Cappadocia, you MUST stay at Monastery Cave Hotel. I&'m not one for hyperboles so believe me, as a seasoned traveler, that you will not regret staying there. The family is warm, welcoming, hospitable, generous, and oh so much fun! For two days I was with them, I was family. My two days in cappadoica was not nearly enough (I even thought about canceling my plane ticket to stay longer), but I&'ve made life long memories and pals at monastery cave hotel.

The owner, Ercan, and his household are incredible. VERY accommodating, helpful, friendly, etc. Fantastic breakfast, helpful in arranging transportation, tours, hikes, and more. The village is cute, quieter than G&oreme and Nevehir (but still some very good restaurants and hiking trails).

The people were so delightful! They welcomed us as household and genuinely wanted to spend time with us and ensure we had a enjoyable stay. The kind staff are willing to present you with information and there is certainly always a fire going to sit around and chat with locals and other travellers.

We were made so very welcome by Ercan and Muhammed who even played Turkish music for us to entertain us. They could not have done much more for us. It was superb enjoyable to stay inside the monastery cave - felt like Wilma Flintstone!

The owner, Ercan, is fantastic. He is warm and welcoming and has fantastic ideas for things to do even inside the off season. My friend and I felt right at home and were sad to leave.

The staff is extremely kind and want you to feel comfortable. They have a nice cafe with great coffee and food attached to the hostel along with the rooms were clean. There are a lot of local &"regulars&" that hang out and are also extremely warm.

The people. Everyone made me feel so welcome travelling on my own. I loved the location and also the fact that it was not in a main tourist area. Metin my guide and Arjan were great. I miss the location already and cant wait to go back.
