Me and my pals stayed here for 3days and 2 nights. We really adore staying @ RnR! The property owner Mr. Rick is extremely helpful and extremely accommodating. He also offer you a No cost diving lessons. Near to the beach and the employees there is extremely friendly. I would recommend this RnR Hostel to my other friends.

My friend and I stayed 8 nights at this hostel. For about the first half, we didn&'t uncover the atmosphere as inviting as the description on here. The hostel is a bit obsessed with PADI certification and diving. The first few nights we walked through, individuals were watching informational videos on diving or working at the table on diving stuff and no one even looked at us. The second half was much more fun. We found much more individuals there that weren&'t there for the diving. We finally met Rick and ended up enjoying the hostel. Rick is hilarious and very helpful. He is such an exciting guy to talk to. Tom is adorable and is working on his English but seems to appreciate serenading girls with his singing and guitar playing! The two women Moi (sounds like Moy) and Kae ( not sure on this one) are nice and helpful too. The hostel is pretty silent (sometimes his birds squawk pretty loudly but are silent during normal sleeping hours). I would stay here again. I stayed inside the female only dorm and we had our own bathroom which was fantastic but not sure how numerous bathrooms/showers were available for the other guests. The region is also a wonderful region if you don&'t desire to be inside the loud touristy region of Patong. Kata and Karon beaches are both lovely and silent beaches. The region is filled with what seems to be retired Europeans and families. If you are searching for a much more silent Phuket than this is your region but if you are searching for the party and nightlife then I suggest staying in Patong as it costs 400-500 baht to get to/from Patong.

RNR hostel is a great place, loved the peaceful atmosphere, downstairs really does provide a sociable environment to meet new people, talk about travels and have a few beers. The staff are great, Rick is a cool guy who is genuinely interested in improving environmental challenges that face Phuket. All the staff are super friendly and a great laugh, don&'t miss out on bens big breakfast! I had the pleasure of diving with Rick and Thibault and had a fantastic time. I would recommend anyone thinking of diving consider the 3 dive day, the cruizer wreck is really good. Near by Kata Beach is great, although the walk down the smelly river is not great :) if you go to the beach and turn left further up you are able to surf, the waves when I was there were pretty decent!

Nice little hostel in Kata beach. I enjoyed my stay here. The employees is awesome and super nice and accommodating. The rooms I thought were pretty standard, and hard beds. I enjoyed my stay here though, good people and good times.

Nice clean rooms, crsip linens, large bathroom with all amenities. Definitely one of the nicest dorms I&'ve stayed at. Rick and his employees are really cool, too.
