We spent two nights in one of the raft rooms. We had initially booked one of the more cost-effective rooms. The receptionist showed us the rooms and for just 50 Baht extra we opted for a raft room. The room was spacious and clean with view of the river. Theres a deck with a lovely viewgreat for sundowners. Its inside basic walking distance (2kms) from the well-known Bridge over the river Kwai, passing the war museum and many nice pubs. Also really close to the night market. Worth every single Baht we paid.

It costs just 225 baht for a double room so as long as you dont expect the hilton for that cost then the room is perfect. It is ensuite with a superb fan.

It did what it said it would do. It was by the river, right near all the bars and was easy to get to. It was cheep and cheerful. Obviously this means you should not expect the RITZ or something, but its clean and the beds provide a great nights sleep so long as you dont mind a snail or two or even a small spide/gecko. :D

No incidents of theft. Unhelpful employees but at least not rude/angry/yelling as some of the other affordable accommodations.

The guy that worked there was extremely kind. even though his english was not extremely superb he tried to help me out. also he watched my backpack all day while i went to erawan falls.

Had a nice view of the river and nice ambiance at the common area. Short walk to restaurants and bars. Clean room. Fan room was very doable, and I have a low tolerance for heat.
