We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. It&'s quiet, peaceful and beautiful. Staff were extremely helpful offering us rides around town and they thankful had a ready supply of electrolytes and charcoal tablets soon after a dodgy meal out. Would definitely stay again! Also the bread at breakky was super tasty.

I stayed in a private room at Tanita House. Loved my amazing teak cottage with queen size bed and air conditioning! Aoi (the owner, pronounced &&"awe&&") is friendly and knowledgable. Loved how she provides bottled water in a fridge for guests. Tanita House is extremely best for couples, but I was fine as a solo traveler. She&'s created some thing special, I would return the next time I&'m in Chiang Mai.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Tanita House. The tranquil garden setting, squirrels &"flying&" from tree to tree, beautiful conventional bungalows with wonderfully comfy beds, lovely breakfast, excellent coffee, tea and water offered all day, lovely cafe on the premises, Aor, the delightful and helpful owner, walking distance to eating places and town as properly as the night marketplace - all helped make our stay in Chiang Mai ideal and so really memorable. We highly recommend Tanita Home and will most definitely stay here again if/when we next go to Chiang Mai.

Ahn, the proprietor, could not have been sweeter or more helpful. The place itself is a green, private gem inside the middle of city and industry. It was wonderful to wake up in this environment, breakfast was an outstanding blend of bacon and eggs and wonderfully fresh fruit.

Location - a green space in a busy city. Ambience and architecture - traditional wooden buildings of generous proportions. Friendliness of staff. Aor, the owner, speaks superb English and is extremely helpful. Tea/coffee and cool water available throughout the day

Tanita Home is so peaceful, calm, inviting && beautiful. The teak villas are merely wonderful. Each villa faces a different direction so you can sit on your large porch and you really feel secluded && private. The setting is amongst gorgeous gardens and a showroom full of wonderful wood piece && antiques. The breakfast included was awesome for the price of the the stay. a lot of fresh selections && the lovely girls will freshly cook up bacon, eggs && tomato in case you want. There is certainly an endless help your self supply of bottled water, great brewed coffee && a lot of different choices of tea!. . && free wifi! Aor, the owner is fantastic. so helpful but not intrusive al all. Will help with whatever you need. The room is straightforward and very clean. room was serviced daily with clean fresh towels. We felt like we really were in Chiang Mai && not just another big holiday resort without the thai feeling.

We loved the teak architecture and also the atmosphere, with the antiques. It was family and kid friendly. I was worried that bungalows (as opposed to a traditional hotel where everything is in one building) might not be suitable for rainy season, but firstly there is certainly a large covered area under the main house where you can hang out if it does rain and second, the bungalows are really near to the main house (breakfast area, lounge area and reception). The staff were really helpful in booking activities, giving advice, calling tuk tuks or taxis, etc. and went out of their way to be helpful, for example when I was packing some shorts were nonetheless damp and they ironed them dry. There is certainly a desktop computer with printer and internet for visitors to use in the breakfast area and also wi fi (free). The breakfast was simple but enough variety for us, eggs and bacon cooked to order, and serve yourself from the yogurt, muesli, two fruits (different each day), wholemeal bread, butter and jam, teas, coffee, juice boxes, milk and soy milk. (no pastries, cheese, ham, peanut butter or vegemite in case you are wondering). About the location if you want to go out to center of old town every single night to eat it is about 15 to 20 min, which was fine with us because we wouldnt have wanted to stay in the center. It is close 5 min. to the tourist night marketplace and you could walk.

An amazing oasis inside the middle of Chiang Mai. We stayed here for three nights and honestly do not have a bad word to say. The property owner was fantastic and helped to book trips, taxi&'s and provided suggestions for eating. Really friendly and would drop everything to help. A quiet and peaceful spot however close enough to the centre of town so you can easily walk to the bars eating places and Night Bazaar. Really relaxing and highly recommended. Try the massage spot next door, really low-cost and also the massage was pretty good!
