Although far from the beach, there are a lot of decent low-cost eating places within sight of the place. Tesco is nearby as well. We had a double room for two nights which was kingsized and quite comfortable. Nice to have a refrigerator within the room. Wifi was decent if a bit slow within the evenings sometimes. Jose is really helpful and friendly, and speaks excellent english. Rooms on the back have a nice view.

The owner was extremely warm and friendly and assisted us with everything that we needed (transportation and local tips). We also had a gorgeous mountain view from our private balcony.

Staff helped me carry heavy luggage up 3 flights and drove me into town on a scooter, no charge. It is a 25 min walk to the Aonang beach and point to leave for the islands. Lovely room with balcony and wonderful view.

Room was really clean and had superb facilities. Staff were really welcoming and helpful. Really liked having a DVD player within the room as the hotel has an extensive collection of DVDs that you can borrow for free. The breakfast was excellent.
