Very effortless to get to from airport, effortless to find, effortless access to handy subway stations. Good wifi, nice people, casual cozy common room exactly where it&'s effortless to socialize + effortless to do personal laptop work. Good for long-term stays also, since there&'s a large fridge, and coin operated washer/dryer. Pretty clean, the bathroom gets all wet from shower, but it&'s fine just bring flip flops. Maybe bring a sheet since the blankets seem old.

The location is good, among two metro stations from where you can basically go everywhere within the city. Everyone I met there was super nice and super helpful, so it was a very enjoyable stay!

DIANNE is the largest plus factor for World Scholar House. She is extremely accommodating, approachable, warm and friendly. Toiletries are provided free, so as cold and hot water. The location is three blocks aways from the MRT station, and finding places to eat in the mornings can be a concern. Good items there&'s a Family Mart near the place, where one can uncover practically everything she needs, including microwavable meals.

The hostel is located close to an MRT station on the blue line as well as being a stone's throw from the airport bus. Diane the manager is very friendly and easygoing. The place is relaxed. Free internet service. Nice little kitchen. Free soap for the laundry. No curfew.

Friendly, Helpful staff. Clean. Beside primary street. Close to outstanding shopping areas, banks, et. c. Close to outstanding buses. Near MRT Metro. Close to restaurants, coffee shops, Vegetarian restaurant.

Lots of facilities. full kitchen, self-laundry. room was the size of the bed without any other space to move, bathrooms were filthy. they have a strange system where guests are expected to keep shared bathrooms clean themselves. seems like if they don't (which of course they won't), no one else will.

Overall a outstanding place. Small but comfy with a definite community vibe. People are nice. Facilities are a little worn but not overly so. Linens could use an upgrade but absolutely nothing like I&'ve seen at other places. Overall worth the $.

Good place to meet people - nice lounge area. This is the 3rd hostel I've stayed in in Taipei, and my favourite. The little things are important - there's always free drinking water and toilet paper! (unlike other places I could mention). Also internet is free - no pumping $10 coins into a box. Banks, cheap places to eat, computer market and Taiwan Beer beer hall all in neighbourhood!
