Kiri's House - Taipei Bed & Breakfast Hostel

I have been to a lot of hostels but have never stayed in one quite as warm and friendly and congenial as this one. Kiri&'s Home is literally Kiri&'s house; the individuals who served me there were a household who treated my household as their household members. Most likely because the hostel is small (the size of an average 1000ft apartment), we received far more warmth and care than we would have if we had stayed in a larger ho(s)tel. I shall not detail everything Kiri&'s household did for me during my stay there since some of it was probable only because I was not traveling during a peak season. I don&'t think it wise to detail every single nicety they have done for me so that it won&'t be taken for granted for all occasions. But all in all, whatever they should do well, they did with unqualified warmth and sincerity; if the situation allows, there will be moments of surprise where you will really feel yu can&'t be far more touched.

This location is in a residential home that is in one of Taipei&'s most handy location. The location actually is greater than described in HostelBookers. Room is larger, clean. Facilities are in very good shape. Breakfast and snacks are tasty!. I would recommend this location to everyone travelling to Taipei.

This was actually the owner (Kiri&'s) spot so there was a homey really feel to it. For someone wanting a clean room, hot shower and a safe spot to keep their things, THIS is the spot and more! It&'s close to the MRT and pretty central in Taipei. The hosts were really very nice (e. g. they lend me an umbrella when it was raining, provided a towel, slippers, and even made my bed! ). It was almost like staying at your friend&'s spot and I would definitely stay here again!

Cozy atmosfere, warm and friendly staff, great showers and toilets, decent beds and great airconditioning. The location is near a subway station, so a great location to start off and explore the rest of the city. There were even some cheap eating places nearby.
