I was a bit sceptical (lack of reviews) and only booked it since nothing else was free, but this hotel/hostel has the top location possible, close to each bus stations, the old train station, near the Fruit street, inside the lively shopping areas. Staff was really nice, and helpful in case you speak a bit Chinese. (They can also arrange Green Island trips for you. ) I booked a dorm bed, but since I would have been the only person in that room, I actually got an ensuite single for the same cost (yay! ). - Would return to this place, if I ever stop in Taitung again.

The staff was really friendly and helpful. The location was nice, it was near the fruit street, and inside walking distance of eating places and such.
