Good location. Train and Bus stations, at the same time as main traveler office, 7/11 shop and food outlets are inside a ten minute walk. Jordan and Shirley on the staff were friendly and very helpful. Great local traditional meals were served up on the Saturday night with staff and management. In case you don&'t have the culinary skills to cook your own native cuisine, then bring along some thing to compliment the dinner.

Staff were fantastic - super friendly and even hung out with us and were kind enough to show me around Hualien city. Outstanding atmosphere; really friendly, homey and welcoming.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Nice and clean room. It taks ten minutes walking to the train station and this hostel also supply bicycle rent service.
