Spectacular location with the extremely finest view inside the whole valley of Lauterbrunnen, especially if you book one of the 4 balcony ensuite rooms facing the valley and waterfall. Some hotels are closer to the waterfall and valley floor, but they don&'t have the awesome view of both the valley as well as the Jungfrau Mt looming above the limestone cliffs. I could have stayed on my balcony the whole three days and been entirely satisfied. Amazing value for the money.

We had a private room. Lovely light room with two massive windows that open and window/doors onto a shared terrace (privacy wasn&'t an issue with curtains etc. ). Really clean, best shower pressure i&'ve ever had (I happily second someone elses review on here), right inside the middle of town on the main street. be prepared for a late check in (4pm) but there is certainly a restaurant downstairs you can wait at (rosti and sasuage mmmmmm) and ask for no cost wifi.
