The view of The Eiger from our balcony was unbelievable! Definitely with paying for a room with a view. The location was excellent, employees very very friendly. They even made us a packed breakfast each morning as we were out and about ahead of the breakfast room opened. So fantastic! Definitely should be rated higher than a 2 star property that&'s for sure! Very clean and safe.

We stayed inside the family suite which had a room with a double bed and a seperate room with two singles. The double had an ensuite bathroom. The whole suite was recently decorated and in outstanding condition, with a lot of wardrobe space for everyone. No cost wireless was provided. The employees were extremely friendly and helpful.

Location is excellent, just 10 minutes to station whilst dragging the luggage. Breakfast is included and excellent continental quality breakfast before a massive hike. Superb first expertise in Gridswald. We had to share toilet facilities but it was clean and sufficient warm water for long showers.

Convenient to walk to train station. The breakfast is quite great and has a cosy breakfast room.

The room with bolcony is excellent! It is exactlly face to the Elger Mt. The location is good which effortless to find.

Very friendly owners, outstanding central location. Balcony rooms have fantastic views.

Good breakfast. Great base for skiing/boarding. Busses to principal lift quite frequently. Ski and board room available for use. The hotel offered a reasonable half-board option with a restaurant across the road over Christmas period.
