We stayed at Grindelwald for one day as a base for going up to the First and to the Jungfrau railway. The lodge is 10min walk from the train station and 10min walk from First cable car terminal which is very very good location. The employees welcomed us warm and friendly and helped us book paragliding! The hostel offered discount for First and jungfrau tickets! The room was comfortable and cozy and all the facilities were very good. The kitchen had everything we need, clean and nicely equipped. We woke late for the breakfast but they kindly served us with cereal and bread which we appreciated a lot (and sorry for that! ) Very good living expertise with budget acommondation which add colour to our trip in Swiss! recommend!

It&'s the BEST hostel we&'ve ever stayed in - outstanding staff, outstanding location, outstanding view, outstanding atmosphere, outstanding buffet breakfast, outstanding kitchen, everything&'s great! Plus, they sell special-discount ticket to the Jungfrau - even less costly than discounted price with a swiss pass! unbelievable!

Great service, they even packed us a lunch and brought it to our room when we told them we&'d be taking a trip to the Jungfrau the next day. Cool place, great view.

Was a really massive complex of different buildings, but there was only a few of us there (pretty rubbish weather tbf). Good cooking area facilities and you can even rent fondue equipment! DVDs and playstation games offered to rent too (although we weren&'t staying long enough to create use of it). We were met on arrival by a really nice lady, spoke excellent english, who showed us to our room.

One of my favorite hostels. Had a lot of room for relaxing and socializing with others. The rooms were really massive and had a nice massive table inside the middle. Wasn&'t cramped at all like other hostels can be. There&'s a pool table, tvs, computers. along with the environment was extremely conducive to meeting new individuals and making friends. There is certainly a extremely nice breakfast every morning and there&'s a bar that&'s open some nights for guests. It was a fantastic encounter staying there

I will definitely recommend this hotel. Rooms are massive and clean. In the city center and really convenient to get access to. Staff are quite patient and helpful. It is the very best hostel during my one week&'s journey.

The kitchen facilities were pretty good, aside from not having a decent knife. How come no hostel has a decent knife There was a shed for bicycles and ski gear.
