I like that the location is inside the middle of the city, which is strategic for visiting many attractions around. I also enjoy the public area which is nicely decorated, clean and full of booklets for information.

Helpful staffs created a new key for me to use when I could not discover my keys. Central location. Clean rooms with a sink, lockers, and tables. Finally, a great and atmospheric common room.

Clean rooms and large lockers (suitable for even huge bags. 24 ). Been here back in 2008 and liked it which made me return to this place again following 6 years.

Very well organized hostel. Had assigned beds, which I prefer. Very well equipped kitchen with double stoves/fridges. Large common room. Warm and friendly staff. Quiet at night

Internet connection is extremely very good in the common areas. They sell food, postcards, gifts and Swiss army knifes in the reception. The vending machine has ramen/noodles which is excellent for a low-cost dinner. Location is perfect: a couple of blocks away from the station and inside the old town. Easy walking access to all of the attractions, and also to supermarkets. Each bed has reading light and plugs available. The locker is huge enough for a huge backpack. There&'s a television in the common room, radio, sofas, PCs, printer, kitchen, washing machines, etc. There&'s a lot of useful info in the walls (maps, tours, recommendations, etc). In general extremely good.

Only stayed there for one night and didn&'t spend much time in the hostel, but it seemed to have a nice common area with kitchen and a board full of hints and tips for Bern.
