The Hostal itself is in an awesome location, right in the middle of the old town and only a short walk from the beach (less than 10 minutes) with exceptional views; it has much much more charm than the mass hotels that line the beach for a great price. The accomodation is basic but with so much to see we didn&'t spend much time in the room as properly as the views much more than make up for it. Juanita herself is warm and friendly and did not set a have a look at time. We are three guys from UK on a road trip and it made a excellent break in between the cities as properly as the silent life and it was refreshing to stay somewhere not full of louts!

A fantastic place to go for a bit of peace and quiet! I had a huge double room to myself with two balconies overlooking both the beaches in Peniscola, and my own bathroom which was lovely and clean. And it was really cheap! The owner was lovely, though she didn't speak much English she left me to my own devices and I had a great stay, really chilled out. Very secure and private.

In the old sity, but not far from the gates and also the beach, parking is not far, brilliant double rooms for this price. Employees don&t speak english, so comunication is not so easy
