Excellent staff, took time to remember your name and exactly where you are from. Fantastic activities each day - I did the Tapas night, walking tour, flamenco night, bar crawl and trip to Toledo as nicely as the Paella on Paella night was great value and delicious! Fantastic atmosphere, met plenty of great people, great location close to the centre of the city and only 15-20 mins walk from a lot of the sights. I stayed in the front bedroom (8 bed dorm) and wasn&'t too disturbed by the outside noise, so I think it depends on how nicely you sleep no matter whether you might wish to ask for a room away from the front. These guys have won prizes previously, and you can see why! If I&'m back in Madrid, I will definitely book here again!

I am a huge critic of hostels and for me The Way hostel was an acceptionally very good hostel inside the center of Madrid that truly caters to the expectations of backpackers. This is not one of those crappy hybrid hostels of which you see popping up more and more in Europe, this one is the true deal and is reasonably priced, really near to the metro and to all the major attractions. The employees were so fantastic and i would go as far as saying they were some of the finest employees in a hostel that i have ever met (of which is now one of well over 150 hostels). I was so surprised that i will indeed be writing an email to the hostel to say how happy i was with two particiular employees members. I would book this hostel again in a heart-beat, and will, see you in September :) Drinks to buy inside the hostel are cheap, which encourages individuals to hang around, 1 euro for 400ml of Amstel beer in a can, 50 cents for a water, etc. You may also bring within your own drinks, and the common region has lots of seats, 3 fast computers, a television and a hifi. I found this common room to be a really very good one which was designed in such a way to encourage individuals to mingle. Wireless is very good albeit a little tempremental, they could definetely do with upping their net speeds. Walking tours leave every day from the hostel, lasts for about 3 hours and is really good. Pub crawls are also organized and are priced at 10 euros for the night.

This is a really properly maintained hostel with a little something for everyone: tango, bar crawls, cheap dinners. They really care about their guests.

I enjoyed the fact that there were activities that we could sign up for such as: bar crawls, flamenco, tapas night, drinking games night, and the excursions to Toledo and Segovia.

The people are incredibly friendly, the location is great, as properly as the rooms and facilities are all clean and in great shape. Definitely an awesome value, and also just an outstanding hostel.

This hostel would have the. Greatest employees at any hostel I&'ve been too && I&'ve stayed in a lot. A lot of exceptional excursions were arranged && they were all fantastic.

Great people! It&'s a warm and friendly environment and best for individuals who are traveling on your own simply because everyone is so social. The hostel also has a walking tour which was great. I went with Erica who was extremely animated and fun. I especially loved the private flamenco show (with a no cost sangria) that Pablo arranged. Overall, it was an excellent experience! Wish I could have stayed longer!

Great hostel- friendly helpful staff, lots of activities on every single night, good buzz in there. do the walking tour with erika, nicely worth the small tip, u get to see all primary sight around sol and palace aread. make sure to take a look at the gardens/park. rooms extremely clean, amazing value
