Like a home to us! Ana and Steve are very helpfull and kind. We didn&'t have own car, so they give us a lift when ever we need. The nature in Islallana is amazing! We hope that we can go again to Casa Verde some day.

Beautiful house with character in a gorgous mountainous setting. We had a comforting time inside the gardens and felt extremely welcome. Much better than staying in a chain hotel.

At La Casa Verde, the atmophere is really relax along with the hostess, Anna, makes a real effort to welcome you and inquire about your needs and desires. She will take the time to show maps and advise you aboutwhat the region has to offer. Its in the middle of a gorgeous countryside, with striking scenery of the red cliffs around. And Lorogno, about 15 minute driving from La Casa is a small town with a gorgeous and typical old center with plenty of exquisite tapas bars. The home is calm, clean and cosy, and a nice breakfast will wait for you in the morning (even if you wake up really late! ). We stayed there with the desire to uncover the wines of the region and Anna (a local) went out of her way to help us: she recomended a nice restaurant in the middle of the vineyards location and while we were eating the restaurant owner said that Anna had contacted him and that a producer was providing to come and take us for a go to of his winery! The tour and tasting was wonderfull, he even brought his daughter who spoke perfect french, a real treat. We definitely suggest a stay at La casa Verde if you need to disover the beauties of La Rioja and enjoy the generosity of Anna.

The owners are very friendly and properly travelled. They had a lot of very good info about the area. We were able to come and go as we please without seeing anyone else. It&'s nice to be away from the town out in the hillside, yet it&'s only a 15min drive to Logrono. I would say you need a car to stay here.
