The location was great - a walking distance from all the major sites. The staff was friendly and helpful and has excellent English and very, really helpful in explaining how to get to places, what to expect, fix problems at the hostal, etc.

Everything was great! We had a double room, which was often clean and nicely prepared for our arrival afterthe long days touring Barcelona. The hostel is close to Pl. Catalunya and La Rambla, which makes up for a wonderful location. The reception was extremely nice and helpful with everything, including sightseeing tips! Highly recommended!

The accommodation exceptional for the price range, very clean with daily maid service, the bathrooms cleaned expertly and general areas maintained. The staff (I met 4) were all extremely helpful, giving advice, providing tips and even printing timetables for us; they were always warm and friendly and inviting. The hostel has a private seating area on the first floor which is clean, comfortable, surrounded by beautiful foliage and had both shade and sunny areas; we spent each late afternoon sipping a bottle of wine and reminiscing he day in Barcelona city-it was great! Just book it and stay here.

The town centre is at a 30 second walk, yeah you read that right! The staff does not speak much English but one can communicate using key words. Outstanding location, superb room, nice large bed, superb places to eat close by. All in all great place to stay. High on the safety index - coming from a woman who travelled alone.

Very good location (less than 10 mins to La Rambla, extremely close to a metro station), price, cleanness (the room and also the bathroom were cleaned every day) and also the overall look.

Great location which is not on the teen/hooker-infested La Ramblas street. The neighborhood surrounding this hostel provides a far more local atmosphere that includes greater deals on food and other services. This hostal also has much newer and cleaner rooms/facilities than expected. The lockers for safekeeping are organized by deposit and therefore do not charge any hourly/daily fees. The staff are very helpful and polite--the 24 hour receptionist service is PRICELESS and also provides greater security. The daily maid service is great. This place harks far more of hotel than hostel.

The hostel is great! It&s clean, only 10 mins walking to the center, the reception was extremely outstanding and also the price is ok.
