Great place for sightseeing in Seoul, and also the staff are really friendly and helpful. It has all you need even though you dont get a lot of space.

I loved that it was right inside the center of town where I wanted to be. Walking distance to most of the palaces and markets. It was nice and flat no hilly areas at all. Inside walking distance to metro and buses. The room was silent and airconditioning a pleasing bonus. A lot of street vendors inside the same street for delicious local cuisine. Seoul has a lot of small alleyways, This guesthouse was situated in an alley way so may be difficult for first timers - alleyway was small but safe, with restaurants inside the same alley. Had some great roommates.

Helpful staff. The front desk is not 24 hours open but when we checked-out at 4am they were there to assist us and even got us a taxi for the airport.

I really love the atmosphere of korean traditional culture here. the room is so cozy and the staff are really nice to me. Also, it's very near to the subway station, a really good place to stay for travelers especially first timers. I also like the breakfast. The bread was delicious.

The location is one of the very best around! The train station is within 1 min walking distance! One Word, AWESOME!

Please remember, you are booking a hostel, not a 4 star hotel. Sunshine Guesthouse is amazing for a guesthouse. The owner Max and his staff are warm, friendly, inviting, and genuinely go out of their way to make your stay easy. They speak fluent English and are quick to provide assistance above and beyond the call of duty. Getting a bit lost inside the old city of Seoul, Eric, the manager came out to get me at the drop of a dime and picked me up with a smile and a firm handshake. Max and I shared a nice beer that night talking and he was quick to share his story which is amazing. Yes, the location is safe, clean, and super convenient to the subway (less than a 1 minute walk), stores, bars, and even just a walking adventure to the sights and sounds of Seoul. BOOK HERE and rest assured, you are in great hands with MAX and his AWESOME CREW!
