The owner went out of his way to help me. Also, as he owns several houses and houses long term interns and students, he has a social director, currently a young lady named Maggie who is accessible every morning and evening, who plans public activities and everyone is invited, public meals each in-house and at restaurants, sight-seeing trips, etc. She is also accessible for advice re Pretoria and South Africa. The daily breakfast which is included in the price is very good, fresh fruit, cereal, yogurt, toast, muffins, tea, coffee, milk. I actually stayed here twice, once again right after visiting Joburg. The group that shared the dorm with me were considerate and wonderful to be around creating a very comfy environment there.
