Did have a nice atmosphere. nice television room and balcony, bar was good, very good food. even though the bar was noisy this was not hearable in our room. even though we did have a toilet in our room (right next to the night desk), we sometimes used the shared facilities which were old but clean

I like that the property is not only central and near to traveller attractions but it has a history all of it&'s own. It has a lovely &'old English pub&' downstairs as properly as the entire building has great space and atmosphere. The employees are friendly, helpful. The braai&'s on the balcony are great for getting to know one another!

This is an excellent less costly option in Cape Town. The hotel is old but nonetheless reasonably liveable. The bar has an excellent setting and good low cost food options. Really good value for money.
