I think I have never stayed in such a warm and friendly hotel, they really made me feel at home. The location was a bit outside of the center but they lent me a bicycle and it was only 10 minute ride to the center. The vicinity was nice and gave a possibility to see far more Ljubljana than if I had stayed at the center. The restaurant also served really great food with reasonable price. Altogether, this hotel deserves 5 stars!

Katrca has lovely staff who were very accomodating and helpful when we needed help getting from the airport. Also with super comfortable beds, its spotlessly clean and was a outstanding place to get a decent nights kip. The bathrooms were well equipped and the breakfast was very good too. Very interesting furniture downstairs in the bar!

I liked the manager guy, Marko. But as it is a meeting spot for a lot of local people, they are quite loud on the street in the weekend.

Location a bit far out of town (although owner will pick you up if you give him notice. )No supermarket or take away inside the location but Katrca provides good food in their restaurant.
