The staff were so warm and friendly and helpful. We arrived after a 14 hour over night journey and although we weren&'t supposed to check in until 1pm, the guy let us go up to our rooms at 9am to sleep and sort ourselves and come down to do all of the &"formalities&" once we had had a sleep, really appreciated it!

When checking in the manager Greg offered me and my two buddies a free shot of schnaps which was much appreciated (at least from my part). Greg is extremely friendly and tries his best of being helpful. When we stayed there were some renovations being made in the hostel/bar but we got a wee discount for the troubles. Also, upon check in you will be charged a traveller tax, but it&'s not extremely much roughly around twoo euros. The hostel is convinient situated extremely near to Lake Bled and is nice and clean.

The hostel is over a local pub, great for a few pints just before bed. Got offered way too many no cost shots by the bar staff
