Great family run place, we had a lovely welcome! 3 of us booked in and had a 8 person dorm to ourselves. The dorm room was fantastic we had a lovely bedroom with a living room and shower/bathroom. The owner was brilliant and all employees spoke very good English. for 16 euro each a night we thought it was brilliant - thanks Aqualand Hotel!

I found Aqualand to be one of the nicest places ive stayed on my journey so far. I booked 4 nights and soon booked another. I was lucky enough to have the dormitory to myself and so basically had my own apartment, which is needless to say great. I dont like loud, noisy drunken groups so this was perfect. Moved to private room 5th night as dormitory was booked, nonetheless an excellent price. Its a 5 minute stroll into the center and 10 from train station. Poprad itself has charm but its an excellent base to do fantastic traveler activities. The surrounding location has so much to do - caves, castles, mountains. The staff are kind, charming and helpful and helped me to rent a car- some thing i cannot recommend enough, it allowed me to have two awesome days, and for just 33euros a day. My only regret is that i couldnt stay longer there. time eh - your worst enemy.

The room had its own kitchenette and seating area which was brilliant for socializing. The hostel had a discount card for the nearby spa. It only cost 1. 50 for a cab from the bus station to the hostel. The property owner was really friendly and welcoming.

Nice place, really clean, had a no cost breakfast that wasn&'t advertised, cozy beds, overall really good!

Very spacious double room. The employees gave us free breakfast of cereals even thought this hotel did not say there is free breakfast. Offered us discount to go to Aquacity and great recommendation of resturant.

It is hard to describe the friendliness and quality of this place. Hostel-wise speaking it does not get better than this. Beds, shower, entourage, everything is nice and of high quality. Peter and Rachel (owners) are not just a host, but they are friends. I (and my colleague traveler, Tom) had a great time with them, inside the mountains and at their other property, the Aqualand Cottage. The hostel is located Ýdeally close to the high Tatra's and a total must in case you plan to stay in or around Poprad.
