The location is pretty good. It has a good supermarket just nearby and from VDN you can catch busses (200XOF) and toubas everywhere in Dakar running constantly, way cheaper than cabs even if you get a 1500XOF ride. There is a good sort of pretty low-cost local eating places (1500XOF yassa poisson) just the other side of the VDN or pizza (3000XOF) if you like just in a 2 minute walk to the left.

(Airport to hotel should cost more than 3000XOF) Hostel wasn&'t made from bunker beds. Senegal is really secure but property was safe, clean and nicely run. It was spacious, room had a fan and a TV. The property is run by three ladies who are really helpful and nice, and few young guys who are in change of safety and cleaning, mostly keep the location running outside of the front desk. This is an outstanding location to stay in Dakar, inside the middle of everything. Really good price and usually not crowded.

Simple auberge filling the gap in Dakar (there are extremely few). The space was clean and noiseless and fit my needs perfectly, and the bus to down-town (1) stops 2 blocks away on the major road, superb! Oh, an it&'s a extremely very safe neighborhood.

This is my third time at Kingz Plaza, each time I met positive improvements, renovations and upgrades. The spot is clean, safe and afordable. The staffs were friendly and really helpful. They understand the travelers needs. I adore it.
