The location was beautiful. The place was clean with fantastic warm water and shower. Cooking area was pretty well equipped.

The young lady at reception was really friendly and helpful. The cooking area and dining area was large, as was the lounge room area, which had a good selection of national geographic, outdoorsy mags and some books. The shower was clean. A variety of older and younger people, so it was a quiet hostel. I had a car, so could find it fairly easily.

It is in a scenic setting, and nearby the Shiel Bridge bus stop. I really like how helpful the employees is!

The cleanest, most comfortable hostel I have ever stayed in. Because of its generally older clientele, it also maintains a more respectful culture--no drunk people waking you up at 2am. It's quiet, but homey and friendly. The staff knows the area and is so kind and helpful--one staff member lent me her bike to get to a hiking trail that was beyond reasonable walking distance as I didn't have a car.
