There is someone at the door, 24-hours. The rooms are clean, as properly as the hostel is located on Bath Street, close to all of the trendy pubs.

The night ahead of our arrival, I emailed the hotel to have a driver pick us up. They obliged and sent a taxi to pick us up at the airport (30 GBP for 5 of us with 5 suitcases). The hotel is really unassuming, along with the outside is extremely plain. However, it&'s safe as you have to be buzzed in along with the reception stares at the door. In all actuality, the entire hotel is really plain, but this is completely fine with us as it was really clean. I contacted the hotel directlly (again via email) and requested a room from the reception (I had seen on this website that people were complaining about being at the front of the hotel). The hotel responded stating that they would put us inside the back of the hotel (and they did). We arrived around 1230 and our room wasn&'t ready as check-in wasn&'t until 1400; however, the other people that were traveling with us were able to check in to their rooms so we just left our luggage with our traveling companions. Our hotel room was inside the &"basement&" of the hotel toward the back. This was excellent for us as we were from the reception and because the room was inside the &"basement&" the street noises was rather quiet. The bed seemed to be new along with the room was spotless. There was a tea/coffee tray that was provided as well as a hairdryer. The bathroom. what can I say other than the shower was like some thing out of Star Trek. It was easy to maneuver and use, and I was pretty entertained by all the different points it did. There&'s a bus station near the hotel ( the 747 from the airport will take you here) along with the walk from Buchanan Bus Station along with the train station is 10-15 minutes. King Tut&'s Wah Wah is about a 5 minute walk and Sauchiehall is literally right around the corner. The hotel is in a pretty very good location. The first morning we woke up too early and weren&'t able to eat breakfast inside the hotel (on Saturdays and Sundays it&'s served 0800-1000), but the morning of our have a look at we got the Full Scottish Breakfast which was pretty hearty and definitely greater than a lot of the European hotel continental breakfasts I&'ve had. The reception was warm and friendly enough and kept to themselves. I think they have wireless net too. All in all, we&'re really pleased and definitely suggest this hotel!
