Definitely close to the party area. Decently kept, value for money. A pretty decent location for a night out - a huge common area which individuals do sometimes use (when I came in on Friday night, there were a huge number of individuals looking to go for a bar crawl). If you&'re here to party, this is most likely where you desire to go!

The staff was great: they like a great time and are very helpful. Beforehand I&'d read some terrible reviews about the rooms on the other side of the street; I was pleasantly surprised. The bunk beds were squeeky, otherwise, it was a fine location to sleep. What do you expect for the price

The staff were really warm and friendly and welcoming. They made me really feel like I was apart of their hostel family even though I was only there for 3 nights. The showers were always hot and at night i got a calm sleep. Bluesky hostel has an awesome setting and I will definitely be back.

I had a fantastic time at this hostel - the employees were super warm and friendly and helpful and there was often drinking games and fun people hanging inside the common area. Fantastic for people travelling alone.

Cheap accommodation. The building is run down and old as well as the wireless wasn&'t really reliable but it was cheap. 20min walk into town but some excellent bars around the area.

The atmosphere and location, this isn`t your typical annoying backpackers spot but the people here are fun and it`s def a spot exactly where you can stay longer. It`s only 5 minute walk to Sauchiehall street exactly where all of the bars are!

Our stay at Bluesky hostel was wonderful! Very nice staff, always people to meet and to party with inside the common room. Definitely the hostel to stay in if you are in Glasgow to party and meet people from all around the world!

This spot is absolutely perfect for the people that it very clearly states that it caters to: backpackers looking to party. Based on some of the negative reviews, I was half expecting to show up at a dirty, unsafe, uncomfortable shithole and it was ABSOLUTELY the opposite. The staff went out of their way to create sure everyone had a great time, it was a entirely respectable level of clean, and even though the lockers were near to the front door, I never worried about my stuff getting stolen (and I&'m a bit paranoid on that front already). In case you want mints on you pillow, BlueSky is not for you (so please don&'t come and stop leaving negative references that confuse the rest of us. I nearly missed out on an awesome encounter simply because of other reviewers&' overreacting and it would suck for that to happen to other people). But if you want a spot to drop your things, lay your head, and party until 6AM if you so pick to (guilty as charged), then BlueSky is the spot for you!
