Cosy and homelike hotel, old english style that made it really feel exclusive and luxurious. Friendly staff, good waterpressure in the shower and spacious rooms. Near to the city centre and haymarket station.

Great place with greatest connection to the airport and city centre. Pretty rooms - easy and clean. Staff was restricted (seen actually only 1 person), but nevertheless everything went smooth. We actually expected less for this quantity of money and was positively surprised. It is probable to borrow (for free) ironing board and iron. Hairdryer, television with dvd also offered in the room.

Nice, comfortable and spacious room, noiseless hotel with eating places and bars close by. Superb location with 15 minute walk to the center. Satisfying stay, if ever back in Edinburgh would stay here again.

Peaceful venue opposite small leafy square and in lovely classical designed crescent. So quiet but only ten mins extremely close to Princes Street and centre. Polite and warm and friendly staff. Lovely, gracious dining room and excellent breakfast. Elegant old fashioned building.
