The hostel is not visible from the street. In fact, you appear to be like any other resident of St. Petersburg returning house by walking into one of the many courtyards to reach your apartment. I liked this very much. It did not draw attention to the fact that I was a tourist.

It is in the down-town region however, distances in saint petersburg are quite long so several times you need to use transportation as properly as the nearest metro station is not so close (aprox 900m far). However this is not a problem and in general, the hostel is properly located.
