I was somewhat nervous about travelling by myself to Saint Petersburg (especially as I don&'t speak a word of Russian), but I am so glad I decided to stay at Teatre Rooms. The employees (Sasha, Serj and Ivan) were super helpful and warm and friendly along with the atmosphere at Teatre Rooms really was perfect. It&'s walking distance to everywhere, and right after a day of wandering around the city, there was nothing else I wanted to do but grab a beer and relax at the bar. As I said - perfect!

The receptionist, Sasha, was friendly and spoke outstanding English. It's a friendly place within walking distance to everything. There are 2 markets and plenty of local eateries nearby, as is a post office (don't buy stamps from gift shops). St. Isaac's is literally around the corner, so it's ideal if you've come in on the St. Peter Line shuttle van. And, if you're looking for a local bar you need go no further than the bar. Which is right there inside the hostel.
