The courtyard bar, altough ramshackle, is a very good idea. The cost I paid is cheap, altough there are much far better places in Moscow for a similar price.

The hotel is very good, clean. location is excelent, it is inside the centre of the city. The stuff is very freandly, also hotel has a private backyard with the bar. The buttom line that i liked it very much.

Hello guys! I stay in Hostel A La Russe and what i want say. This hostel has perfect location (3 minutes from Red Square, 7 minutes from Old Arbat street). With the help of this i saw several attractions. In outside work very good guys with white smile) I speak with guys from other country and now i know several exciting things. In hostel several shower with hot water. Also in this place very safety and each and every day cleaner woman to wash room. I think it is one of very good place in Moscow. I recommend! )

Ideal location for exploring the city - in a quite sidestreet but literally next door to the busy Tverskaya street (which is highly NOT recommended for shopping for budget travellers! :), near the Red Square and Kremlin. The hostel was quite totally booked when I was there but nonetheless I enjoyed my stay. Perfect if you are right after meeting individuals and making new friends. Fresh linen and towels.
