This is brilliant value for money- much more like a B&&B with hostel prices. In a great location- half way between portimao and praia de rocha and also close to the bus route for day trips. Owners don&'t speak much english but are nonetheless very helpful. Portimao is not one of the very best places to go to inside the Algarve, and our main aim of staying here was to have low-cost accomodation close to the bus route for day trips (Monchique/Silves). So it was ideal for this purpose!

We booked a double, but got a twin room. First night there was no hot water, at morning/daytime there was no hot water. only the second night we were able to shower.
