Wow! Not sure where I would start! There should be an &"excellent Choice&" Everything was Perfect! Loved the location so much greater then staying in P. D. G. I would have been dissapointed if I would have stayed R. G. Is such a Outstanding town! Altino went over and above my expectations! What a Outstanding week I had here was Sad to leave! So much to see on this Beautiful Island! Lisa Souza

Great location with cool laid back atmosphere, Portugese + English spoken. Far more than a hostel a comfortable guesthouse with individual rooms, spotlessly clean. Really warm and friendly + welcoming owner with vast knowledge of wine growing, local culture and sights to visit. Surely the place2be on Sao Miguel.
